Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 10 June 1987. Baunchand talks about her early life in Louisiana and her courtship and marriage. She discusses her religious experiences, her conversion to the Mormon Church, its impact on her present life, and comments on the experiences of other black Mormons.
